Why GELA Exists

After more than two decades in education, we witnessed the same heartbreaking pattern year after year. Children entered kindergarten already behind. Many struggled academically—not because they lacked ability, but because no one recognized their needs early enough. Others were identified with developmental differences only after years of frustration and  increased low self esteem. Families often had to navigate a confusing system of separate schools, therapists, specialists, and community agencies with little coordination or support. We knew there had to be a better way. Rather than continue talking about the problem, we committed ourselves to creating the solution.

Thus, GELA was born from one conviction: Early enrichment combined with early intervention can change the trajectory of a child's life.​​​
